30 Day Challenge – Day 1

If you haven’t heard the buzz yet, you need to check out the 30 Day Challenge!

This is a free Internet Marketing training program that runs annually (usually in August) and is organised by Internet Multi-Millionaire Ed Dale.  The concept behind it is that complete beginners to Internet Marketing can follow along and learn everything that they need to know to make their first dollar online.

Now technically, I don’t qualify.  However, no-one cares!  Anyone can do this and I like to join in to learn the latest tricks that Ed’s teaching.

So why am I writing this post?

Quite simply, I thought you might find it interesting to follow what I’m doing with this and see how it’s working for me.

I can’t guarantee that I really WILL make any money with it, and I won’t be dropping any of my other sites or quitting my day job, but I’m confident that there will be great things for us all to learn along the way.

So, let’s start with Day 1…

The first day is an introduction to niche marketing.  We learn today through some great videos what a niche is and more importantly, what qualifies as a MICRO-niche.  To get the ball rolling, we have to start thinking about niches that we might like to build a site around.  Dan Raine (one of the 30 Day Challenge faculty members) takes us through how we can research niches to get great ideas for Internet Marketing.

Obviously, I’m not going to share my list here… ;)

Whilst day 1 isn’t necessarily difficult, it can take some time to come up with good quality micro-niches.  We don’t start qualifying any of ideas today, but we have a list of ideas to carry us into day 2.

Watch this space…!
